It all started 3 years ago when one of the founders of Switched Homes moved into a brand new home in Auckland. Wanting to add some simple smart home features to the home was going to be very expensive so we set out exploring how can majority of existing homes be made smart without spending upwards of 50 thousand dollars. We spent the first 2 years researching, buying and testing products and have come up with solutions that will cater for majority of the NZ market at a much more affordable price.
Being based in Auckland, we are only servicing the Auckland region at this stage but given the opportunity we would love to travel and make you experience what we call next level living...
